Async adapters

Now that Syn.Bot has moved entirely into .NET Standard, could we get proper async/await support? Async adapter would be a good start. What I mean - currently we can make synchronous adapters and event adapters, as stated in official documentation . Sync adapters are great because they're easy to imp...

Re: Learning/Memorizing issues

I tested MergeWith as well as Override-Pattern, it works really decent and it already made a huge progress towards what I want to create, thank you a lot! I have a few remaining issues though :). I tested MergeWith() and it currently works like this (with override-pattern): 1. Bot learns that XXX = ...

Re: Learning/Memorizing issues

This sounds good enough for me. MergeWith(XDocument) would already be much better than nothing, since I could create my own XDocument composed of what bot has learned already, and then update it according to new model in learning event, so yeah that would solve the issue I'm having :). I know that d...

Learning/Memorizing issues

I'm trying to make use of learn and remember tags to make bot remember certain things. This works to some degree, but not the way I want to. Basically I'm trying to make a very simple "remember that X is Y", but with a few important points that I have no idea how to proceed with. 1. I want to receiv...

Re: User concept not being initialized when user missing

I checked it and it indeed works like a charm, as I expected! :)

I'm very grateful for this feature, I'd like to say big thanks to you and the entire team for what you're doing, it's a real pleasure to see feature requests being implemented that fast, much appreciated! :)

Re: User concept not being initialized when user missing

If I am getting it right. You are suggesting that when a User attribute value is specified within <Concept> a new user must be created if a user with the provided id is non-existent? I think this would be an interesting feature to add in. Probably we could provide an option as well to enable/disabl...

Re: SimlBot.ReleaseBrain()

omg popsicles :D releasing the Bot during a chat session would just kill it :shock: are you just looking to reload the KB graph ? bot.GraphMaster.Children.Clear(); foreach (var user in bot.Users) { user.MiniGraph.Children.Clear(); } //Reload new KB immediately here :O Not if I use ReaderWriterLock ...

SimlBot.ReleaseBrain()

Basically I'd love to have an option of releasing everything that was loaded via AddSiml() calls, while not necessarily creating new bot each time. There is simple rationale for that - I want to be able to entirely reload SIML brain from updated files, but not abort all ongoing <Late> tasks or clear...

User concept is not initialized when user missing [SOLVED]

It looks like user concept is not being loaded at all if user with given ID wasn't created at the time of loading SIML file. This is inconvenient, as I need to remember all IDs of all users myself and create every single one of them before loading SIML files - it'd be much better if SimlBot automati...

Re: Possible issue with random

@Thielak Does the behavior stay the same in your SIML Bot? I mean within your application or just Syn Bot Studio. Syn Bot Studio is still running on version 2.0.1 . Which is pretty old. On my end the following test seems to be passing: [TestMethod] public void RandomTag_Seeding() { for (var i = 4; ...
