English Speech Recognizers

If you do not have a US English Speech Recognizer as shown below

Then you should download the English Speech Recognizer. So if you are using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition

what about other systems... more accurate ones ?

The imposable takes a bit longer
VB.net, C#, PHP, lost of older stuff.
Oracle, MS-Sqlserver, and MySql.

If you are talking about speech recognizers, well you have Google Web Speech ( which has been added as a plugin in Prototype 7 ).

We already have a Google Speech recognizer ( an experimental one ) in prototype 6. All you need to do is just enable it from the Settings Panel and disable other Speech recognizers in the Graphics and Speech page.

If you are using a 3rd Party Speech Recognizer try enabling the Auto-Input feature in the Graphics and Speech Page that automatically accepts text in the Input Box of the Avatar Window (The issue being that the Input Box should be selected/focussed before speech recognizer transcribes the speech and sends the text). We did try integrating a Plugin that would get Text Streams from Dragon NS v11.5 but it looks like Auto Input does the job for now.
